13th December 2012, Dar es Salaam – With two great perfomances this weekend featuring the best Congolese musician Kofi Olomide better known as “Le Grand Mopao”, the Tusker carnival kicks off with style this weekend.
Kofi Olomide scheduled to arrive anytime now will have his first performance in Dar Es Salaam leaders club on the 15th December and thereafter will head to Mwanza Kirumba stadium on the 16th December 2012 for yet another thrilling performance.
Fans, especially those that truly enjoy the ‘BOLINGO’ themed dances and moves are now more eager than ever to find out what the sensational and stylish, Kofi brings to the stage this time around.
“It is a great honour for us to bring people together with great performances such as these ones. We know how unique Kofi Olomide is and loved by many. To bring out even bigger and greater bond, with our consumers we have organised Tusker carnivals to trail out to four major towns. The first two will be Dar Es Salaam and Mwanza, which will be graced by Kofi. We also have Moshi and Mbeya, these two which are scheduled in the next week will feature our top local bands and musicians,” Said Maurice Njowoka, Brand manager, Tusker.
The entrance set for leaders club this Saturday is at Tshs.10,000 for those who will join the carnival in the morning hours and those who come in the evening will be charged Tshs.15,000.
“We urge Kofi fans and our Tusker consumers as well as those who delight to the band music to show up in large numbers as there will lots for all of them”, he continued.
