PMI hosts Football Business Seminar in Tanzania
Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (December 8, 2012) – On Saturday,
December 10th, 2012 9am at the Paradise Express Hotel; Playbook Management International, a Dallas Texas based sports management company will host a Football Business Seminar in East Africa for football leaders from the Tanzania Premier League, CECAFA, Tanzania Football Federation. The Business Seminar will cover topics that range from a historical study of the growth of Major League Soccer, growing the global brand of a professional football league, sustainable business management of a professional football club, strategies to monetize professional football assets, sponsorship strategies, community outreach for professional football clubs including the sharing of best practices from the US and International football clubs and associations.
PMI Founding Partner shared his thoughts on the seminar, “PMI is extremely proud to be here in Tanzania to share our experience and expertise in the business of professional football. It’s an incredible country with a great football future. There’s strong leadership and passionate fans which means that there is tremendous potential. I’m very optimistic in where Tanzanian Football will be in 10 years, on and off the pitch.”
