Real Madrid win all first Bernabeu UCL matches in the last 14 years

The team has scored 48 goals and conceded only nine in this series of games.

.Last season, an own goal from Anita and a strike by Higuain gave Real Madrid a home victory against Ajax in their first UCL match at the Bernabeu. In the 2009/10 they defeated Olympique Marseille 3-0 with goals from Cristiano Ronaldo (2) and Kaka. This success in first UCL home games of the season started 14 years ago and the team keept it up against Ajax tonight.

Back in the 1997/98 campaign, the Madridistas defeated Rosenborg 4-1 in the first Bernabeu clash in the group stage thanks to goals from Panucci, Ze Roberto, Raul and Morientes. The following season Inter Milan were the first to fall at the Madrid stadium in the championship (2-0).

In this series of games, Real Madrid have scored 48 goals and conceded only nine. Their largest victory was their 6-0 win over Belgian side Genk in the 2002/03 season. The Whites have kept clean sheets in seven of these games.
